The purpose of this news item is to enable both Parish Councils & the wider community to be able to see what is happening, not only in the Parish where they live but in the neighbouring parishes as well.

The Information below relates to the following period in time:-

29th November 2012 – 31st December 2012

We would like to take this opportunity to remind people who own marine equipment to make sure they take every opportunity to secure the items and record any serial numbers.

General Details

Crimes Recorded

Ladock During this period Police have been called 10 times to the Parish. 6 Of these calls were road related, 2 relate to the same incident in Grampound Road & 2 others.

4 Crimes have been recorded.  2 assaults have been recorded both dealt with conclusive outcomes.

Between 17th & 18th December South West Delivery Services in Grampound road were subject to the theft of fuel from Lorries stored at the Location. GE/12/291 Relates.

1 Person arrested for driving with excess alcohol.

     
Probus During this period Police have been called 16 times. 11 of these calls are road related incidents including the A390. The other calls are various incidents including the report of a missing person who was located in Truro City. 2 crimes have been recorded, 1 for Harassment & the second with regard the communication act.
     
Tregony During this period Police have been called 4 times 2 of these were road related, 1 report of a lost wallet & 1 a report of a missing person who was located in Truro. 1 crime recorded which related to the theft of a mobile phone. This crime has been finalised.
   

 

 
St. Michael Penkivel During this period Police have been called 4 times, 3 of these related for area of concern such as the welfare of an individual and flood related.

1 Crime has been recorded and that is the theft of propeller from the Tregothnan Estate between 29/11 & 13/12.

Philleigh No Calls To Police.

No crime recorded.

     
St. Mawes & St. Just In Roseland  

 

 

 

 

 

 

During this period Police have been called 11 times to the Parish. 6 calls relate to one location within a short period of time.

10 crimes have been recorded during this period.

GE/12/270 – Between 27/08 & 31/12 a laser sailing boat reported stolen.

GE/12/276 – Between 07/12 & 10/12 an address in Lower Castle Road  was subject to a Burglary

GE/12/285 – Between 13/12 & 15/12 DL Marine was subject to a large quantity of marine outboards & marine related equipment taken from the location. Various outboards were removed without causing huge damage to the transoms. At this moment in time the value placed on these items is in excess of £29,000.00.

People are reminded to be aware of their surroundings and report any suspicious activity to police at the time it is happening.

GE/12/289 – Between 11 & 12/12/12 an animal deterrent was report stolen from an address in Freshwater Lane.

GE/12/290 – Between 17 & 18/12/12 a vehicle parked secure and unattended in Percuil View had damage to the rear window in an attempt to gain entry to the vehicle.

Gerrans & Portscatho  

 

During this period Police have been called 11 times to the Parish.

GE/12/275 Between 6 & 7th December 2012 a number of power tools were taken from an address in Portscatho.

GE/12/293 – On 25th December 2012 relates to damage caused to a gate on Tregassa Farm.

GE/13/6 – On 25th December 2012 relates to the theft of items from a vehicle parked unattended and not secure in Portscatho.

 

     
Ruan Lanihorne During this period Police have been called once. This was to locate next of kin for a patient admitted to Royal Cornwall Hospital.

GE/12/294 – Between 10/12 & 28/12/12 a number of trees taken from a property in Ruan High Lanes.

     
Veryan & Portloe During this period Police have been called 4 times.

No crime has been recorded.

No Calls Received.

GE/12/289 – Between 13 & 14/12/12 Gargus Farm reported a number of power tools taken. Avon & Somerset Police stopped a vehicle in there force area and arrested two person recovering the tools in question.

     
Trispen St. Erme During this period Police have been called 21times. 12 of these calls were road related. 2 of these calls related to Anti Social Behaviour. The other calls were various.  2 crimes have been recorded, 1 in relation to the communication act and 1 for driving a motor vehicle with excess alcohol.
     
St. Allen During this period Police have been called once and this was in relation to the A30. 1 crime recorded during in this period which relates to driving a motor vehicle with excess alcohol.
