Truro & District Cats Protection branch which covers postcodes TR1-TR9, TR14-TR27 & PL28 have volunteers who work hard to foster and rehome cats and kittens in their care, help with feral cat issues in these areas and promote the neutering of cats.
One un-neutered female cat can be responsible for 20,000 descendants in just five years.
They are currently running a £5 neutering campaign for qualifying cat owners in our postcode areas. Any cat owners who are eligible (in receipt of means-tested benefits, state pension only or a full time student) will only pay £5 and their Branch of Cats Protection will pay the balance. This campaign is running indefinitely as long as funds last and it helps people who are struggling financially as much as it helps improve quality of life for cats.
