Computer Classes In The Millennium Rooms

desktop-computer-imageEarlier this year Roseland Visitor Centre organised a course of computer classes to be run by CRCC (Cornwall Rural Community Council) and Superfast Cornwall in the Millennium Rooms, St Mawes.

By liaising with Roseland Surgeries Patient Group, who by survey had established a need for computer classes within the area, the first sessions held during May this year were soon filled up.

A second 6 week course was then arranged for September. It was so popular with those from the first course wanting to return and telling their friends about it, 3 classes a day were needed.

There are now plans for a third course of 6 weeks to start on January 15th until February 19th 2015. The format this time though will differ slightly.

There will be a class for complete beginners from 10.30 to 12.30am. It will be fun and informal and tailored to suit all needs.

There will then be 2 drop in sessions for those who have already attended previous classes either 1.15pm until 3.15pm or 3.30pm until 5.30pm

The Millennium Rooms are situated above the Roseland Visitor Centre in the car park in St Mawes. It is available to hire for exhibitions, training, talks, etc with a screen, projector and wifi available as well as a hearing loop and disabled access. Ample parking is available. To arrange to view or to register an interest in any of these classes, please ring Roseland Visitor Centre on 01326 270440.
