Cornish Fundraising Luncheon at Trelissick Farm

14.04.12: A fundraising and awareness dinner for the ‘Cornish Cuddle Centre’ is being hosted by John and Caroline George at Trelissick farm on 22nd June.

The luncheon, which consists of local home-cooked produce and a glass of wine, will be accompanied by a talk from the Global Natural Healthcare Trust founder, Annette Montague-Thomas – a Cornish Herbalist and qualified Pharmacist – whose charity clinic on a settlement in South Africa, where the inhabitants live in abject poverty, treats children suffering from HIV/AIDS.

Organiser, Sue O’Donovan told Roseland Online, “The lunch is set in a really lovely location and hopes to help local ladies who may have time on their hands learn of the progress which is being made towards establishing the Cornish Cuddle Centre, designed to help with the 13,000 orphans in the foster care system.”

Places are limited so early booking is recommended. Tickets are £12.50 per person and a booking form and more information can be obtained by ringing 01872 530500 or emailing suzegweltek@btinternet.com. Forms must be returned by 8th June.
