Kings Head Win Gold at Taste of the West

TOTWAwards_2016_GoldThe Kings Head in Ruan Lanihorne have won a gold medal in the The Taste of the West awards, in The Dining Pub category.

Niki Law, owner of the gastro pub told Roseland Online, “This is a great achievement for us as this award is all about the commitment, perception & communication of local sourcing, the quality of our food and service, the atmosphere, ambience and value for money… all the things that are most important to us.”

Taste of the West is a membership organisation for food and drink producers, distributors, restaurants, cafes, pubs, hotels, farm shops and speciality retailers in the South West who are passionate about the provenance and quality of the products they make, serve or sell. The organisation is the largest independent regional food group in the UK and they promote and support local food and drink from Cornwall, Devon, Dorset, Gloucestershire, Somerset and Wiltshire.

Niki added, “We are very proud of our team here and it is wonderful to get recognition for all the hard work that goes into achieving this standard and awards like this.”
