Meet Roseland Online’s New Co-Editor

Roseland Online is delighted to introduce its new co-editor, Peter Evans.

Peter’s family have lived in Trewithian for over 35 years. After his mother died, Peter and his wife Sue renovated the cottage with a view to moving there permanently.

That dream was realised last year when Peter retired after working for more than 37 years for the Foreign Office both at home and overseas.

Peter will be taking over the calendar and classifieds sections to start with and as his confidence working with WordPress grows, the platform for Roseland Online, he will take up reporting and creating and distributing the weekly What’s On posters.

Founder Editor, Mark David Hatwood, said, “It’s such a relief for me to have Peter on board. His credentials are second-to-none and due to the success of The Harbour Gallery and my own writing workload, along with the overwhelming growth and success of Roseland Online over the last year, Peter’s input will really enable us to build on that success even further.”

You’ll no doubt see Sue and Peter walking with their dog around Portscatho and Rosevine. But whereas Sue runs the garden; Peter loves anything to do with the sea and boats, so watch out for him on the Carrick Roads, too, this summer. Peter and Sue also have two grown up sons (one married) both of whom are frequent visitors to the Roseland.
