The Mevagissey Male Choir’s (MMC) 40th Anniversary Gala Concert will take place on Friday 30th May at the Eden Project’s Gallery Room.
As well as the MMC, the concert will feature the Plymouth Military Wives’ Choir, the Cornish Sinfonia Orchestra and popular local soprano, Alison Harvey.
The Gala Concert, which will take place on Friday 30th May at the Eden Project’s Gallery Room, is being held to celebrate 40 successful years for the Choir, which started life in Percy Mitchell’s boatyard in the autumn of 1974.
The programme will include favourites from every decade, notably both the first song ever performed by the Choir and the most recent, as well as some of its most popular and challenging modern pieces.
