Local event, MMW (Midnight Mermaid Walk) in aid of breast cancer has just secured national Arts Council Funding which will ensure both the walk and Pajama Party will become an annual event here on the Roseland.
The walk kicks off this year at midnight on Saturday June 1st 2013 in St Mawes but if people don’t want to enter the 13 or 26 mile marathon distance, they can choose to just join in the fun of the entertainment of the Mermaid Pajama Party (MPP). The programme for the day’s event is below.

| 7pm | Kezia set (45mins) – finish 7.45pm |
| 8.15pm | Jonny Fenner set (45mins) – finish 9pm |
| 9.30pm | The Women (114mins) – finish 11.25pm |
| 12am | Walkers leave |
| 12.15am | Confessions of a Shopaholic (104mins) – finish 2am |
| 2.20am | The Devil Wears Prada (109mins) – finish 4.10am |
| 4.30am | Dreamgirls (130mins) – finish 6.40am |
| 7am | Walkers begin to return |
The price for just the MPP is £10. People are welcome to just show up on the night.
