Saturday 13th August 2016 will see the return of the Portscatho Fish Festival.
After the success of the first two festivals, this year’s event is set to be another great day for all the family and a proud celebration of Gerrans Bay’s rich variety of fish and shellfish. The harbour will be a hive of activity, with local fishing boats bringing in their catch to the quay, music from Du Hag Owr shanty singers and a spectacular seafood lunch on offer. Proceeds will go to local organisations and charities, raising money for important village causes.
The festival kicks off at midday and continues into the evening when Simon Stallard, owner of the Hidden Hut, will be cooking one of his signature paellas, to be served at 7.30pm on the Harbour Club’s new panoramic balcony overlooking Gerrans Bay.
Tickets are just £10 for this fantastic end to the event but will sell fast, so get your tickets now from the Harbour Club’s website.
