Queen’s Jubilee Celebrations underway in Gerrans and Portscatho

04.12.11: For the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee 2012 celebration in Gerrans & Portscatho, a recent public meeting was convened by the Parish Council and a volunteer committee was formed to organise a day of celebration in the two vilages. The outline plan is:

11.30am: Children’s Sports -Football Field

12.30pm: Barbecue – Gerrans Green

2.00pm: Presentation of Mugs – Gerrans Green

3.30pm: Procession – Gerrans Square to Lugger

4.30pm: Tea on theLugger

5.30pm: ‘Roseland Relics’ (live music) – Outside Plume

8.00pm: Hot Food – Outside Club

8.30 pm: More Live Music – Outside Plume

9.30pm: Music in the Club
