Roseland Online Triples its Readership in 2013

statsThanks to the changes made to our website at the end of 2012, this year Roseland Online tripled… yes, TRIPLED its readership.
In 2012 Roseland Online totalled an average of 93,994 unique visitors per day – that’s an average of 256 per day. But this year, we amassed an incredible 284,000 visits (and nearly 4 million hits), that’s an average of 783 actual visitors per day; over three times the 2012 figures… and with some days as high as 2500 visits!
Roseland Online founder editor, Mark David Hatwood said, “I am absolutely amazed and excited by these figures. I knew the revamping of the site would help, but I wasn’t expecting that growth at all.”
The best news is that means there are three times more people seeing our advertiser’s business adverts; three times more people seeing our local events, classifieds and clubs and society listings, making it even more powerful for South Central Cornwall’s growth.
superfast-broadband-cornwallMark added, “The most amazing thing is that since our start in 2009, we’ve only had a 10{c8c3b3d140ed11cb7662417ff7b2dc686ffa9c2daf0848ac14f76e68f36d0c20} increase on our £60 annual block ad fee! So when other websites are charging hundreds of pounds per year for advertising on lesser visited sites than ours, Roseland Online is truly giving exceptional value for money for locals and businesses alike.”
Roseland Online has also helped the community by successfully engaging with BT and Superfast Cornwall for the community to increase the 80{c8c3b3d140ed11cb7662417ff7b2dc686ffa9c2daf0848ac14f76e68f36d0c20} expected rollout of Superfast to over 95{c8c3b3d140ed11cb7662417ff7b2dc686ffa9c2daf0848ac14f76e68f36d0c20} of properties on the Roseland, whilst also donating hundreds of pounds to community causes.
We’ve also been featured in The Telegraph twice this year, the last time referred to as THE online resource for South Central Cornwall, putting our area, events and businesses in the forefront of everyone’s minds when visiting Cornwall.

Mark pointed out, “There is still much to do, but what an exceptionally exciting way to enter 2014. So if we can do anything to help you or your business in 2014, I look forward to hearing from you.”
