Roseland Plan Latest Information – February 2015

The Roseland Plan documentation, submitted to Cornwall Council in December, has passed its legal compliance checks. The next stage in the process towards the Referendum is for an Examiner to be appointed, probably in early February.

The Steering Group has begun work on the first stages of the implementation projects flagged in the Plan. Two of these projects in particular, ie:

  • Development of a Roseland Design Guide
  • Production of Conservation Area Management Plans

would benefit from input from interested people who would be prepared to do relevant work in their own settlements. If you would be prepared to offer practical help, please contact the Secretary (details below).

We would like to remind you that to be able to vote in the referendum (and other local elections), you need to be on the Electoral Roll. If you are not currently on the Electoral Roll, and wish to find out whether you meet the qualifying criteria, please contact Cornwall Council Electoral Services Office (01209 614373).

Next Steering Group Meeting: the next meeting of the Steering Group will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday 18th February at Ruan Reading Room. Members of the public are welcome to attend.
