St Mawes Harbour Wildlife Study Exhibition

21.12.11: The St Mawes Harbour Conservation Trust are inviting locals to celebrate with them the results of theirtwo-year study into the rare marine habitats of St Mawes Harbour.  They will be presenting the story of the survey, the maps of the sea bed and the results of their analysis of the sediment cores.

Project coordinator and local author, Philip Marsden, told Roseland Onine, “The project has been one of the most detailed such studies in the UK and has much to teach us about marine biodiversity, as well as the ecological richness of our own harbour.”

The exhibition will take place on Thursday 29th December at Millenium Rooms, St Mawes from 7.30pm and everyone is invited to attend and meet the other team members, David Bucknell, Brian Chenoweth, Chris Hitchings and William Shawcross.
