Summer 2016 Dog & Hog & Philleigh Fayres held in Church Close Field, Court Farm, Philleigh @ 6:30pm
We would like to welcome you again to join us for another action packed time of fun and good food for all the family at this summer’s Dog & Hog on Wednesday the 20th July and the Philleigh Fayres on Wednesday the 27th of July and the 3rd August. At the Dog and Hog you can show and race your own dog and at the Philleigh Fayres we have sheep racing, more dog racing and the ever popular ‘finale’ egg throwing competition, along with our other popular events like the greasy pole, sheaf pitching, coconut shy, pony rides, climbing tower, skittle alley, nail driving, horse shoe tossing, cake and plant stalls and many more besides. At both events we serve excellent locally produced food, Fairtrade tea and coffee, and soft drinks, as well as local beer and wine – there’s more than enough food and drink to feed the family! Come and dine with us and enjoy some good honest country fayre fun in Philleigh.
If you would like to run a stall or help with the preparations for the Fayres on the night, or you would simply like more information, please contact Shirley Pascoe by email firstname.lastname@example.org or by phone on 01872 580313.
These events are organised by The Friends of the Church St Philleigh Church (a registered Charity) who would like to thank you all for your continued support. We look forward very much to seeing you and your friends again this year.
