Two Business Support/Funding Schemes Opened Up

untitledTwo new schemes to help local businesses have opened up and could local businesses in SCC could be eligible to apply.

One is a new website which will provide a virtual one stop shop for all aspects of business support has been launched by Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership.

Business Pulse (www.business-pulse.co.uk) brings together all the services that can support businesses in one place – whether it is in starting-up, growing a business, employing more people or just running a business day-to-day.

It also allows businesses to connect with each other, the LEP and support providers to create better and more meaningful communication, design of services, and engagement with what the LEP does and can do for businesses in Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

The other, awarded by the Rural Business Investment Scheme (RBIS), sees a £500,000 bursary to be managed by Cornwall Development Company and delivered in partnership with Rural Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Partnership Board and Cornwall Rural Community Council.

The bursary aims to encourage investment in business-led projects. The scheme will focus support of businesses in the agri-food sector and rural micro businesses within priority target groups. To read more about this fund, click on the picture above and download the info page.
