Published to celebrate National Hedgehog week, this little book was a birthday gift from a friend; its messages of the need to protect our environment and care for our wildlife are combined with Pam Ayres’ eye for the minutiae of life to produce a moving plea for everyone to care for these little creatures. 

Sweet little drawings are combined with tips to make your garden hedgehog friendly and a darker than usual poem from Pam Ayres. 

It won’t change the world but it could be a great first step. To use the author’s words “hedgehogs are easy to help. Please, if you don’t already, think hedgehog”.
