Plus One Staring Maya Erskine, Jack Quaid, Ed Begley Jr. Directed by Jeff Chan & Andrew Rhymer

In order to survive a summer of wedding fever, longtime single friends, Ben and Alice, agree to be each other’s plus one at every wedding they’ve been invited to.

Although on the surface this seems like a bog-standard comedy, the stars and script make this a much more out-of-the-ordinary flick.

It has more of an indi feel than mainstream RomCom and the charm and chemistry of the main actors is a delight and will grab you from the get go.

Verdict: More than it seems and great performances and script.
