NOTICE OF THE ANNUAL PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

THE MEMORIAL HALL ANNEXE

TUESDAY 1st May 2018 at 7.30pm

All members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend for the purpose of considering and resolving upon the business as set out in the agenda.

Residents of the Parish are invited to attend and listen to proceedings. This is a public meeting and as such could be filmed or recorded by broadcasters, the media or members of the public. Please be aware that whilst every effort is taken to ensure that members of the public are not filmed, we cannot guarantee this, especially if you are speaking or taking an active role.

 3rd April 2018.

  1. Localism

     – To consider potential preferred options for the future allocation of Community

       Network Panel Highways budgets.

     – To consider a proposal that the Council declare its support for the Plastic Free Coastlines

         movement and in particular the initiative to obtain Plastic Free Roseland status, and

         to discuss possible supportive action.

     – Any other localism issues.

  1. Children’s Playground

     – Update on proposed improvements

  1. Church Close

     – Update and to consider a quote received for fitness equipment.

  1. Data Protection

     – To consider setting up the Council’s own email domain to insure isolation of

       Parish correspondence from Councillors’ personal mail.

  1. Annual Internal Audit

       – To consider approval of the Annual Governance Statement 2017/2018 pre-audit.

       – To consider approval of the Statement of Internal Control 2017/2018 pre-audit.

  1. Financial Matters

     – To consider exempting the current Responsible Financial Officer from the requirements

       of the first sentence of Financial Regulation 9.9 as revised at the meeting on April 3rd.

     – Clerk’s report on status to budget of proposed payments for authorisation.

     – To review and approve accounts for payment and bank reconciliation.

  1. Other Parish Matters

     – Any urgent business, agenda items for next meeting, minor matters for report

Please note that any plans for consideration under item 9 (a) will be available for examination by the public from 6.45 pm, prior to the Annual Parish Meeting, which precedes the Council meeting and commences at 7.00pm.
