Frustrated with the dog fouling issues in the community, Gerrans Parish Council cleverly engaged the help of the local primary school to help. They ran a dog-fouling poster competition which was won this week by ten-year-old Daisy Thomas.
He wonderful design is now being posted all over Gerrans Parish to highlight the issues of dog waste and it is being greeted with both enthusiasm and delight from parishioners and visitors alike.

Well done Daisy and congratulations Gerrans Parish council for an innovative solution to a local issue.
