Minutes of the Extraordinary Parish Council Meeting held at the Mevagissey Activity Centre
On Friday 12 December 2014 at 7pm.

4a. PA14/03705/PREAPP : Planning Performance Agreement for redevelopment of existing building to create 2 maisonettes and 2 flats. A new building of residential dwellings adjacent to Tall Trees facing Church Lane and 2 semi detached dwellings to the north west of the site. With associated parking to the front adjoining Church Lane.

It was agreed that the Council is broadly in favour of the proposal, with a preference for Option 1, and welcomes the prospect of improvements to this important but long neglected site. With reference to the stepped roofline of the proposed terrace, it was suggested that the section of the terrace with the lowest roof height (at the northern end) should be omitted from the design (and the next section, with the intermediate roof height, should be raised to the maximum roof height to compensate), in order to create sufficient space for vehicular access to the proposed semi- detached dwellings lower down the site.
