New Takeaway Opening On The Roseland

Dan-TatamsStonebakeA brand new takeaway service will soon be opening in Portscatho.

If everything goes to schedule, Dan Wilson, who was the Chef at the Plume of Feathers last year and at the Hidden Hut this season, will be opening Tatams Stonebaked on 4th October. He will be open in the evening from 5.00pm until late on Thursdays to Saturdays, and on Sundays from Midday until 6.00pm.

His plans are to prepare a Middle Eastern menu on Thursdays to include Kebabs, Falafel and Flatbreads with Roasted Vegetable salads. He will cater for Gluten-free, Vegetarian and Non-cow’s dairy where possible.

Dan told Roseland Online, “I have a real passion for good food. So many restaurants on the Roseland focus on the summer trade. I am more interested in providing something different for those who live here the whole year round.”

On Fridays and Saturdays, Dan will be preparing Stonebaked Pizzas, again catering for Gluten-free and Non-cow’s dairy where possible. Customers will be able to order special ingredients beforehand if you want something specific. This will include salads too.

Finally to finish off the weekend, he will be doing Slice Sundays when customers passing by can buy by the slice with sides from Midday until 6pm.

Tatams Stonebaked can be found on the Slipway behind the Harbour Club (the Tatams cafe building) and Dan can be contacted by telephone under: 01872 580031 or email: stonebaked@tatamsportscatho.co.uk
