Roseland Plan – September 2013 Update

The Steering Group are beginning to make progress with the Neighbourhood Development Plan, seeking to understand your hopes and fears for the Roseland. We have attended various events over the last few weeks and have had an encouraging response from everyone we have spoken with. In addition, factsheets and questionnaires have been distributed to every home across the five parishes. If you haven’t received these, please let us know (contact details below). Our September meeting will be held at 7 pm on Wednesday 18th September at Veryan Sports and Social Club. Members of the public are welcome to attend. Further public meetings will be scheduled soon, so please look out for notices advertising these.

The Steering Group would like to thank the following for their support: Veryan Galleries, Veryan Sports and Social Club, the Memorial Hall in St Mawes, The Millenium Rooms, and the organisers of Philleigh Fayre, Veryan Carnival, St Just Carnival and Portscatho Regatta. We also appreciate the efforts of those who manned stands at the Summer events and the teams of volunteers who have delivered our recent mailshot. Finally, we would like to acknowledge the help of Hayley Emery for her assistance in building our web-site and Brian Green for design advice.

Last month’s magazine omitted details of the St Just in Roseland representatives on the Steering Group. They are Christine Williams (alternate is Brian Chenoweth), David Hubbard and Brian Willis.
