We are now in recess for our summer holiday. In September we will be starting the Roseland Walking again in Tregony, St Mawes and Portscatho – so you could explore 3 different areas from the one in which you live, get some gentle exercise (maybe along with the dog) and meet some new people as well. Dates will be published next month.
Painting for Fun re-starts on 4th September and will continue fortnightly until Christmas. If you just didn’t get around to joining us the last time, please put this date in your diary now. Beginners will be most welcome. There will be other activities as well – dates will be confirmed next month. Most of these will be taking place in Portscatho as we are delighted to have been offered space in the Harbour Club and the United Reformed Church free of charge for these community activities.
We could do with more people on the RSPG Committee who want to make a difference in the Roseland Community. If you have some time to spare and share please do contact us. We meet once per month at Portscatho. Anyone wanting to offer or run or help with courses/activities would be particularly welcome. 01872 580282 or email email@example.com
Defibrillator Project – Please remember we are raising funds to put units across the Roseland to buy time for anyone suffering a cardiac arrest. The summer traffic adds far too much time to the ambulance response times to get out here from Truro. If you can make a donation please pay into Barclays at St Mawes Sort Code 20-87-94 account number 6317941902 in our name. You could also donate with a credit card via PayPal by clicking here.
Small businesses: please note there is now a free advice line on Occupational Health run by NHS Plus that provides help and support to organisations in England with fewer than 250 employees. The Health for Work advice line provides managers with access to high-quality professional occupational health advice, getting employees back to health and back to work http://www.health4work.nhs.uk
