There will be a service on Remembrance Day. It will start at 10.45 as usual. We will try to keep to the traditional service we usually us as much as possible but the current situation means we have to comply with the restrictions which govern all church services and of course we want to make the arrangements necessary to keep everyone safe. Face coverings will need to be worn, hand sanitising gel will be available for everyone to use on arrival and social distancing will be observed throughout. We ask everyone to keep social distancing in mind as they leave church too, it might seem anti-social not to stand and chat but unfortunately, we have been asked to remind those attending that social distancing is important outside too.
We are only allowed to have 30 people at the service which includes all those taking part, as you will appreciate that is far fewer than normally come. Therefore, we are having to ask people to book their places, such strange times, but there is no alternative.
Phone or email Anne Wesley to confirm your place – 01872 580043 or email@example.com
We felt it was important to hold a service on this special day and although it may be a bit different the core purpose of remembering before God those who have died or suffered because of acts of war will be honoured.
