Terry Neal Passes Peacefully Away

Terry Neal died peacefully last night. Much loved husband of Valerie, father and grandfather was a much-loved village character in Portscatho and a keen sailor.

He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and the community.

News of his funeral will be forthcoming.


  • Sad to hear that Terry has sailed for a distant shore Val . We have fond memories of the time we spent with you both in the late 60’s and early 70’s and will remember Terry for his humor and kindness of spirit. Jeremy and Diana Daly

  • So sorry to read the news, we have so many happy memories of summer holidays spent ‘next door,’ on Admiralty Terrace, our children loved chatting to Terry and he was so kind, taking us out on his boat. We will miss him and we send our love to Val.

  • I have enjoyed 60 years of beer, boating, yarning and fishing with Terry. And that distinctive laugh which guided me to the Guinness stand at the London Boat Show many years ago. Great memories. I will miss him in the Porth and at the bar. Condolences to you and you family Val.
