Tregony Clockhouse Players Saved for Sinbad

SindbadTregony Clockhouse Players, whose future was in doubt after losing their director, is delighted to announce that Coral Pepper of the Veryan Players will be joining our company to direct the 2014 pantomime.
The Clockhouse Players told Roseland Online, “Coral is an experienced director of drama and an adjudicator for The Cornwall Drama Association and we are thrilled to welcome her to our group.”
To kick off the partnership, they have chosen to visit the magical mystical East and will be staging ‘Sinbad, The Final Voyage’.
They added “This promises to be a fun and energetic panto and will feature a glorious array of characters: and this is where the Clockhouse Players need you…”

The group is looking for enthusiastic new members to tread the boards. Are you ready to set sail on the high seas, find the golden scimitar and ensure good triumphs over evil? Then they’d like to hear from you. Professional talent or previous experience isn’t necessary – all you’ll need is lots of enthusiasm and a positive approach to joining in with a big community effort.
Owing to a very long waiting list, the Tregony Players are unable to take on any junior chorus members this year but there are plenty of roles for anyone aged 11 to 111 so if you’d like to know more or take part, they are holding an informal social meeting at Tregony Village Hall at 7.30pm on Wednesday 25th September.
Auditions for ‘Sinbad’  will commence at the village hall on Tuesday 1st and Wednesday 2nd October at 7.30pm. If you have any queries you can contact either the group secretary Emma Bullen on 01872 530600 or Philippa Hamblett on 01872 500922.
