Treloan Easter Fete for ShelterBox and Gerrans Church A Success

The skies looked bleak as the Treloan Coastal Holidays Easter fundraiser got underway. But nothing could stop the generosity and spirits of the Roseland residents and visitors from supporting this Easter fundraiser in aid of ShelterBox and Gerrans Church from being anything but a huge success. The marquee was full to bursting as Debbie and Peter hosted a 12 – 4pm bric-a-brac sale and raffle. Then, at 7.00pm, they went on to host an evening fundraising  and auction with chef Simon Stallard producing a wonderful meal for the hungry bidders.

In total, the day raised not only local spirits, but a whopping £2000 for three Shelterboxes and also a tidy sum for Gerrans Church.

Debbie and Peter said, “We’d like to thank everyone for their incredible generosity.”

And the feeling was mutual as a local resident commented, “It was such a sunny atmosphere and the weather didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits.” They went on to add, “The evening supper, auction and music, hosted by Mac Dunlop, was a fantastic evening, too. What better way to raise funds and awareness for such great causes… thanks Treloan!”
