The tide on Saturday is not playing ball, so the sandcastle competition will start at 4 pm on Friday. There will be an added bonus of Jumping Out Jazz Duo, strolling musicians, who will keep competitors and spectators, entertained on the beach. Millennium Rooms, St Mawes Portscatho Regatta, 10:30Portscatho Regatta, 10:30 Swimming races will kick off Saturday’s events at 10.30am, followed by stand up paddleboard races at 11.15am. The BBQ will open at midday and the magic show will entertain the children in the Harbour Club from 12:30. The stalls and sideshows open at 1.30pm, on the Lugger. In addition to the usual sailing races, this year we have selected some of the children from our schools sailing programme to join in with a coached racing event.
