Cornish Songs and ‘40s Hits
St Ewe Church
You won’t want to miss this concert at St Ewe Church featuring Oll an Gwella and the The Blue Angels. Oll an Gwella, which means “All the best” in Cornish, are a four part harmony group whose aim is to keep people smiling and enjoying the power of song. They will be entertaining everyone with some real Cornish favourites.
In complete contrast The Blue Angels are three fun women who love to sing 1940s style songs. They sing close harmonies with their own arrangements giving them an authentic sound and look.

Tuesday 25th September at 7.30pm in St Ewe Church. Tickets £7 each available from Lobbs Farm Shop at Heligan, The Crown Inn at St Ewe and Pentewan Garage or ring 01726 842159. Pre-concert suppers in the Crown Inn from 5.30pm (booking strongly recommended on 01726 843322). Fundraising to repair the church tower and bells.

A comedy starring David Tennant, Rosamund Pike and Billy Connolly.
We will be following the usual relaxed format with choc ices served in the interval and glasses provided for you to bring your own drinks. As a change this year your donations will go to a different local charity each month with September’s being Cornwall Blood Bikes. This is a group of volunteers who provide an ‘out of hours’ delivery service to transport items of a medical nature to locations throughout Cornwall saving the NHS many thousands of pounds.

29/09/2018

We are holding a sponsored fiddle tune and folk song afternoon to raise money for Cornwall Historic Churches Trust and St Rumon's Church. Refreshments will be available.
The Cornwall Historic Churches Trust donates money to churches to enable them to carry out repairs or buy items for church purposes. Many of the churches on the Roseland have been thankful to receive grants from the Trust including ourselves.
