The Roseland Festival is proving as popular as ever. Within hours of the box office opening to Friends of the Festival the 2024 event had taken £5,000 in ticket sales making it the best launch yet. Tickets went on sale to the public on the 28th and some events have now sold out.
But there’s still plenty to see and do. There are ten days of events starting on Friday 19 April and ending on the 28th. You can see what’s on by downloading the brochure from their website.
The festival is being managed by an almost new committee which has helped create an exciting new programme without losing sight of the original and key principles of the charity to provide a high quality event and to promote arts, music and culture and at the same time keeping tickets affordable.
So if you fancy listening to classical or gospel music, talking a guided walk on the Roseland or a cruise on the River Fal, learning about the secret gardens of Cornwall or about a life gathering wild native oysters, understanding the life of a honey bee or enjoying some children’s theatre do take a look at what’s on.
You can follow the festival on Instagram and Facebook.
