03/07/2024(2 events) Singing For Fun!, 10:15 – 11:30 – All welcome - we are not a choir, and there is no need to have any singing experience at all! Come for a good sing along and boost your spirits each Wednesday morning. £3 per session Gerrans Parish Memorial Hall Veryan Community Café, 10:30 – 14:00 – Serving coffee from 10.30 then hot lunches from 12.00, which consist of Jacket potatoes and/or homemade soup. Until 1.30. It is all free but donations never go a miss. We will need volunteers on a regular basis, can also offer lifts to anyone who has trouble getting to us. 07/07/2024(1 event) St Anthony Battery Unearthed 2024 (110 & 1330), 11:00 – 12:00 – Hidden under tons of earth for decades, the battery at St Anthony Head was pretty forgotten. Now it is opened up again you can come and find out about the history of the place, going back through different threats of invasion up to when it was finally decommissioned. Tours at 11am and 1.30pm (£5 suggested donation on the day for tours and free access to the outer battery area). Suitable for people of all ages. St Anthony Head |
