The Oggymen in St Mawes ; A celebration of Cornish song, 19:00

For over a decade, The Oggymen have championed contemporary Cornish folk music and celebrated the songs that bind us to our surroundings, to our community, and to our history.
For the first time in St Mawes, The Oggymen will perform their acclaimed arrangements of songs, which have been sung within Cornish communities for many years and will be for many more to come.
From songs by the Cornish miners in the 1980’s, to those sung at Falmouth Working Boat regattas, The Oggymen promise to deliver an unforgettable experience in the unique setting of The Tresanton Chapel.
Doors open at 7pm
Performance commences at 7.30pm
Tickets £16
A pre-concert supper will be available at the hotel at 6pm, priced at £30 for two courses. Please book via reception on 01326 270055.

Richard is a singer, fiddle and cittern player delivering a distinct take on Cornish music, giving Cornwall a truly authentic voice. Passionate about unearthing near-forgotten gems of Cornish history, he breathes life and emotion into what might otherwise be overlooked.

His music of the diaspora is truly inspirational.

Come and explore the family home of the William's family as they open their doors to the public. Tours are lead by our knowledgeable guides, who have many stories to share. Afterwards you can explore the 140 acres of gardens and enjoy refreshments in the Magnolia Tearoom. There are three tours every weekday - 11.30am/1.00pm/2.30pm.
