02/09/2017(2 events) Veryan Market, 10:30 – 12:30 – We have over 20 local stall-holders selling a large range of products including home-made bread, delicious cakes and Cornish pasties, organic meats, locally grown plants, locally grown vegetables in season, cut flowers, home-made preserves, local eggs and honey, hand-crafted items including cards, gifts, jewellery, artwork, photography, crochet and sewing, etc. Come and have a chat with them and find out more about their products. You can also indulge in a cup of tea or cafetière coffee with a slice of scrumptious cake for only £1.50 in friendly, relaxed surroundings. Meet up with your friends or neighbours and see if there's something that takes your fancy. See you there! Grampound Carnival, 14:00 Carnival Fete opens at 2 p.m. on the recreation ground with the usual wide selection of stalls and entertainment for all ages. Main parade starts at 6 p.m. from the car park up Fore Street and back down again. Road is closed for the parade. Entries very welcome for floats, walking entries etc A jazz band will be playing during the happy hour. |
