NOTICE OF THE PARISH COUNCIL MEETING

THE MEMORIAL HALL ANNEXE

TUESDAY 5th FEBRUARY 2019 at 7.30pm

All members of the Council are hereby summoned to attend for the purpose of

considering and resolving upon the business as set out in the agenda.

Residents of the Parish are invited to attend and listen to proceedings. This is a public meeting and as such could be filmed or recorded by broadcasters, the media or members of the public. Please be aware that whilst every effort is taken to ensure that members of the public are not filmed, we cannot guarantee this, especially if you are speaking or taking an active role.

  1. Localism

– To discuss further the provision of seating on Gerrans Green

– To consider approval of preliminary groundworks at the Gerrans children’s playground.

– Any other localism issues.

 

  1. St Anthony Footpaths and Public Access Land

– Update

– To consider the inclusion of some Cornish language in Parish Council publications.

– To consider any designs received for a new Parish logo.

 

  1. Environmental Action Group

– To consider how the PC might interact with the activities of this proposed body.

 

  1. Expenditure approvals

To consider for approval expenditure on:

  1. New all-purpose waste bin at the cricket field
  2. Repairs to pot holes in New Road and Treloan Lane car parks
  3. Replacement benches at Trewithian and Memorial Hall car park if existing

benches prove to be beyond repair.

 

  1. Financial Matters.

– To receive a report from the Finance Committee and to review and approve a

final budget for the financial year ending 31st March 2020.

– Clerk’s report on status to budget of proposed payments for authorisation.

– To review and approve accounts for payment and bank reconciliation.

 

  1. Other Parish Matters

– Any urgent business

– Agenda items for next meeting

– Minor matters for report

 

  1. Co-option of new member

– To consider any applications received to fill the vacant position on the Council

and select a successful applicant by secret ballot of all members present.
