Come and play – or learn to play – Pétanque
This is a fun sport, with a competitive edge if you want it, a short game time and an easy to learn technique. You may have seen it played in Spain or France on holiday or watched the odd game on the beach. Don’t be deceived – for the serious players amongst us there’s lots more to it than throwing a ball in a sandpit!
Whether you are a family, on your own, or looking for a new sport with a partner Pétanque has a lot to offer.
The club at Tregony plays on Wednesday (4pm – 6pm in summer), Saturday afternoons (2 – 4pm), and Thursday evenings from 6pm.
Join us for a month to see if you like it and meet some new people. We have boules that you can borrow and we often stop for a drink or a pizza after play.
