Pentewan Village Life in the 1920s

Robs illustrated talk will paint a picture of village life at Pentewan in the 1920s. He will explore the shops, church, chapel, and some of the characters who lived and worked in the village, drawing on notes from his late father.
If time permits, we will also discuss the Sand and Concrete Blockworks which was the main industry for the village through the 1920’s and 30’s.
