Roseland Online would like to congratulate Ian, Jane & Jake Akeroyd from Trethem Mill Touring Park which has been named as one of the top two parks in England.
Speaking to Roseland Online, the family told us that they are delighted to be awarded Silver in the category Caravan/Holiday Park of the Year 2015 at this years VisitEngland Awards for Excellence. They were presented with our award by Penelope, Viscountess Cobham (chairman of VE), at a glittering ceremony that was held on the 11th May at The Sage, Newcastle.
Commenting on the award James Berresford, VisitEngland’s Chief Executive said: “We received hundreds of applications of an extremely high quality this year. Winning a silver is therefore a considerable achievement and one of the highest accolades for excellence in tourism which VisitEngland can bestow.”
We can all agree that winning this award not only puts the Roseland Peninsula and South Central Cornwall in the spotlight for all it has to offer, but also the whole of the County.
