06/07/2019This coming Saturday, 6th July, will see about 20 local producers - including two new ones - selling their offerings. These include beautiful posies of cut flowers, Gill’s home-made bread, Carol’s pasties, locally-caught fresh fish, a selection of delicious cakes, quiches, pies, samosas, falafels etc, granola, home-made preserves, garden shrubs and plants and unusual seeds, hand-crafted items including beeswax wraps, cards, gifts, artwork, etc. Come and see what we have to offer and at the same time indulge in a cup of tea or cafetière coffee with a slice of scrumptious cake for only £1.50, in friendly, relaxed surroundings. Meet up with your friends or neighbours and see if there's something different that takes your fancy.

07/07/2019Hidden under tons of earth for decades, the battery at St Anthony Head was pretty forgotten. Now it's opened up again you can come and find out about the history of the place, going back through different threats of invasion up to when it was finally decommissioned.
Tours at 11am and 1.30pm (£5 suggested donation for tours and free access to the outer battery area).
Suitable for people of all ages.
