24/08/2018(2 events) St Mawes & St Just Conservative Association Cheese & Wine Party, 18:00 – 20:00 – Cheese & Wine Party to be held at Messack House, St Just-In-Roseland ,Truro TR2 5JL Johnny Cowling Show, 19:30 Funny man Johnny Cowling delights audiences with his Cornish charm, quick wit, vocal talent and humour. His clear Cornish voice make every word (and song when singing) easy on the ear, yet still invigorating. |
25/08/2018(1 event) Portscatho Regatta, 10:00 Stand Up Paddle board (SUP) races starting at 10:00am. Sports on the beach will begin at 10:30am, and the very competitive and creative sandcastle competition starts at 11:45am. The BBQ will open at midday, and tea and cakes will be on sale, throughout the afternoon. Live music at 1pm, outside the Plume of Feathers, and the magician will entertain the children at the Harbour Club, also at 1pm. The stalls and sideshows open at 1:30pm, on the Lugger. The Punch and Judy puppet show starts at 2pm, next to The Boathouse. The St Dennis Band return this year, so be sure to join in the Flora Dance at 6:30pm. |
26/08/2018(2 events) Percuil Regatta, 15:00 A wonderful village style regatta, a great spectator event with lunches and teas available and fabulous raffle prizes. Please come and support our annual regatta. All proceeds go to the Roseland Youth Sailing Trust and the R.N.L.I. First race 1555. RNLI Quay Service, 16:00 Maybe in August more than any other time of the year, our thoughts turn to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution. The RNLI are very active round our Cornish coast, particularly in the summer months. Our local station is at Falmouth where the RNLI have served the local community for over 150 years. |
