We have received reports of counterfeit £20 notes being handed over to shops and a filling station in the Mid Cornwall area around 4.30pm on Tuesday 17 January 2017.

The counterfeit £20 notes were handed over by four males, some purchased small value items, and the one asked to exchange the £20 note for change. The males were in company with a female with blonde hair.

Please be wary of this and inform staff.
