11/05/2022Forest Gump
Slow-witted Forrest Gump (Tom Hanks) has never thought of himself as disadvantaged, and thanks to his supportive mother (Sally Field), he leads anything but a restricted life. Whether dominating on the gridiron as a college football star, fighting in Vietnam or captaining a shrimp boat, Forrest inspires people with his childlike optimism. But one person Forrest cares about most may be the most difficult to save -- his childhood love, the sweet but troubled Jenny (Robin Wright).

–
29/12/2022The Church and gardens will host a magnificent display of themed Christmas Trees over 12 days of the Christmas season starting on 18th December, culminating in a two-day Festival of Christmas celebration on 29th and 30th December. On top of that there will be mood lighting leading up to the 29th and then during the two main days, the 29th and 30th, extra lights in and around the Church will enhance the area.
Open to all the community, the Christmas Trees will form a backdrop for light hearted seasonal music, plus sing along carols, mini-drama, craft sessions for children and lots of mince pies and mulled wine for all. The evening will not be complete without a visit to the Victorian Sweet Shop and bran tub, then why not round off the celebration and join family and friends at a Hog Roast Feast, together with Toffee Apples, whilst listening to the seasonals tunes from the Wurlitzer
