On Saturday 2nd August, Portscatho will be holding its second Fish Festival.
After the success of last year’s inaugural event, this year’s festival is set to be another great day for all the family and a proud celebration of Gerrans Bay’s rich variety of fish and shellfish.
The harbour will be a hive of activity, with local fishing boats bringing in their catch to the quay, crabbing competitions, live music and a spectacular seafood lunch on offer.
Proceeds will go to local organisations and charities, raising money for important village causes.
The festival kicks off at midday and continues into the evening when Simon Stallard, owner of the popular Hidden Hut, will be cooking one of his signature paellas on Tatum’s Beach from 6pm.
Tickets are just £12 for this fantastic end to the event but will sell fast, so get your tickets now from the Harbour Club’s website (http://www.theharbourclub.co.uk/fishfestival.html).
