The Cornwall Agri-food Council in partnership with PKF Francis Clark and the Cornwall and Isles of Scilly Local Enterprise Partnership invite you to an RDP Business Funding seminar, which aims to help you navigate the world of grant funding. A range of support is available to farmers, food processors, forestry businesses, rural businesses and community and voluntary organisations in 2017 and the panel of speakers will guide you through the options available.
David Rodda MBE, Rural Delivery Manager for the Cornwall Development Company, told Roseland Online that “Despite the EU referendum result funding is still available and it is vital that we communicate this to eligible applicants as soon as possible”.
Brian Harvey from PKF Francis Clark added “This event is open to all and part of our contribution to the programme is to use our experiences with grant applications to detail what we believe is necessary to improve the quality of any grant application, as being eligible for funding is only the first step”.
Funding opportunities we will be looking at include:
- EAFRD Growth programme: food processing, rural business development, farm diversification and rural tourism insfrastructure
- LEADER: farm and forestry productivity, food processing, rural tourism, cultural & heritage and rural services
- Other relevat funding support: Countryside Productivity, Agri-tech, Growth Hub
Specialist advisers will also be on hand to provide information as to how we can assist you.
