At approximately 9.30pm on Friday 21 December a possible noxious substance was released inside Bunters Bar, Little Castle Street, Truro.

The bar was evacuated and a full assessment was carried out by emergency services.

Early indications are a pepper spray or a similar substance was released resulting in people leaving the bar coughing, but there have been no reports of any injuries.
