Paddington in Peru (The Jungle Quest)

Published to tie in with the release of the latest Paddington film, described as ‘a little bear goes a long way’, this beautifully illustrated book tells the story of a Paddington’s return to Peru to visit his Aunt Lucy, now living in The Home for Retired Bears.

Naturally he’s accompanied by the Brown family and, needless to say, things don’t go according to plan. They’re soon embroiled in a thrilling mystery which involves a journey through the rainforests and mountains of Peru. To say more would be to ruin the plot so I’ll just say it doesn’t disappoint.

I particularly liked the message about the importance of family, no matter who or where they are, the inclusion of stills from the film and the update on Jonathan and Judy Brown.

Colourful, fun and a must for all Paddington fans no matter how old. Delightful
