16.07.11:A temporary new snack bar has opened up on the Pendower Beach Hotel site to give locals and holidaymakers a respite from this summer’s baking hot sun(?). Brainchild Tom Goldsmith and his brother – whose father, Johnny, owns the development – the two university student/graduates are hoping to give something back to the community by serving teas, coffees, ice creams and other snacks to those who visit the beach.

Tom told Roseland Online, “We put this impromptu business together to make the most of a potentially brilliant business opportunity and to provide a service for the beach visitors. We are also more than happy to answer any questions anyone has about the future development of the hotel and want to help gauge the general views of the public with regards to any future development.”

The cafe will be open through till October from10.30am to 5 or 6pm (weather permitting) but will be closed if weather inclement.
