05.08.11: The Blue Carrot, a local flower grower and seller who already supplies some of the best hotels and businesses on the Roseland, will as of tomorrow be holding a ‘Flower Take-Away’ stall in Portscatho village. The stall will be a chance for anyone to buy organic flowers grown at her Market Garden in Tregassa, Portscatho, for a special rate, but of equally high quality as her normal bouquets.

Susanne told Roseland Online, “I want to give a chance each week for people to buy my flowers without having to order. Locals and holidaymakers can buy my flowers at a much reduced rate, but it will have to be on a strictly first-come-first-served basis. Orders will continue to be available from myworkshop or by phone for delivery, so this is a chance to buy something ‘on the fly’.”

The Blue Carrot ‘Flower Take-Away’ will be run from tomorrow (Saturday 6th August) at 10.00 – 11.30am outside the Harbour Gallery in Portscatho at No. 8 The Quay, and getting there first thing is highly recommended.
