Volunteers at Marie Curie Cancer Care are busy making preparations for a special fundraising day at Trewithen Gardens for Sunday 11th August. Mr. Michael Galsworthy has kindly given the charity the day to fundraising to support the vital work of the local Marie Curie Nursing Service.
The day will include a display of Classic Vehicles and Larry Datson who is co-ordinating this section is seeking owners of vehicles to sign up now to attend the day. We hope to have over 100 vehicles on display and are delighted that five main car dealerships of luxury cars will also be attending.
The day will comprise of a Fun Dog Show, Craft, Produce, Antiques and Outdoor Pursuits type stalls, entertainment for the whole family and of course the gardens will be open for everyone to take a stroll through. Food stalls are already booked including a hog roast, gourmet sausages and burgers, baked potatoes, luxury ice creams, Cornish pasties and cream teas plus a beer tent.
