17.10.11: A follow up meeting on affordable homes in Veryan will be held at Veryan parish hall on Tuesday 8 November at 7pm. On the agenda are the following items:
• Progress update
• Funding for the project
• Initial site layout for discussion
Mrs Mary Symonds, secretary of Veryan CofE Primary School, told Roseland Online, “No formal plans are drawn up yet, but a site has been offered and the questionnaire sent out to the whole parish has been done and data collected previously.”
Also in attendance will be Angela Warwick of ‘A’ Frame Associates, who are building research specialists based in Cornwall and London. ‘A’ Frame is led by Jeff Dutt, who at the request of the then Bishop of Truro, has established an initiative with a local land agent to facilitate an assessment and procurement strategy to support new and existing housing stock in Cornish Villages.
