Roseland Online has been working with Magda Tyzlik-Carver of the University of Falmouth about an exciting course to be delivered at the Harbour Club in Portscatho in February and March. You can find all the details of the course below and a full version of the poster here.
Writing course on your doorstep delivered to you by University of the Village.

Join University of the Village for 6 writing sessions in February and March 2015 at the Harbour Club. This short writing course will provide opportunities to explore a range of writing practices through mini projects and workshops in the online environment. By using a student centred approach the course aims to provide a range of techniques in writing, collaboration, peer-to-peer support and textual practices whatever form they might take. The course is at an introductory level and everyone is welcome to join.
University of the Village is a research and educational project run by Falmouth University, which is interested in exploring the potential of superfast broadband for reimagining the relationship between university and rural communities, and directly between these communities. The course will be delivered to three villages in Cornwall and sessions will connect university lecturer with the villages via Superfast link. As part of the research all participants will be asked to respond the a questionnaire at the beginning of the project, and will be invited to a focus group at the end of the project where they will be asked about their experiences related to their participation in the project.
